About The Sage

With stunning views of the Sandia and Manzano Mountains and the shimmering lights of Albuquerque, the Sage Guest House is located on an acre of natural landscape adjacent to our residence in a quiet area of the charming and historic, agricultural Village of Corrales. The peaceful residential neighborhood is home to telecommuting professionals, artists, and writers. Situated on the high northwest side of Corrales, the area provides incomparable views of the mountains, the Rio Grande “bosque,” Balloon Fiesta Park, and Sandia Pueblo Reservation (home to one of New Mexico’s top-rated casino and award-winning golf course).

Albuquerque and Rio Rancho are close by, and Santa Fe is an easy 45-minute drive. Hot air balloon enthusiasts appreciate the great views and proximity to Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta Park. No matter what the season, The Sage provides comfortable, sparkling clean accommodations for every kind of traveler. The Guest House is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized according to all CDC guidelines and protocols and is a New Mexico Safe Certified Business.

The property surrounding The Sage is a Certified Wildlife Habitat where resident bunnies, roadrunners, goldfinches, quail, and hawks are abundant all year. The private portal and garden are perfect settings for morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening. Guests have access to the natural landscape surrounding the Guest House.

Inside, contemporary furnishings enhance the tranquil atmosphere. The Sage is an accessible space and has a very comfortable queen bed with a luxury foam mattress. Bed linens and towels are laundered fragrance-free to accommodate guests with sensitivities, and the private bath has a large, tiled shower with easy step-in access.  One wall of the Guest House features an exhibit of works by local artists. Information about the area and menus from local restaurants and pubs are available.

The Sage welcomes guests without regard to race, ethnicity, diverse abilities, sexual orientation, gender expression, national origin, and religion.
